Paula Stallard
Vice President, Advertising and Sales, Richmond Times Dispatch

Paula Stallard joined The Richmond Times-Dispatch in 2006 as vice president of advertising and sales.  Previously, she served as corporate classified director for parent company Media General, Inc., and was responsible for classified advertising strategy across the company’s publishing, interactive media and broadcast divisions. 

 

Ms. Stallard joined the Times-Dispatch in 1978, was classified advertising manager for eight years and managed the online advertising staff for timesdispatch.com for two years prior to the creation of the Interactive Media Division of Media General in 2001.  Ms. Stallard has also served as the regional ad director for Media General’s community newspaper group in Northern Virginia. 

 

A native of Richmond, Virginia, Ms. Stallard is a past president of the Southern Classified Advertising Managers Association.  She currently serves on the boards of Goodwill Industries of Central Virginia and the Virginia Press Association, and previously served as an NAA Classified Federation board member. 

 

Ms. Stallard has attended three API seminars:  Classified Advertising Executives (2000), Classified Redesign (2003), and Newspaper Next Symposium II: Blueprint for Transformation (2006).
