Sarah Gibert

Sarah Gibert serves as editor, reporter and translator for La Conexión, a Spanish language monthly publication of The Free Lance–Star in Fredericksburg, Virginia. An employee of the Advertising Department, she works cross-departmentally throughout the company to produce this monthly 20-page tabloid section. In addition to launching La Conexión in December 2003, Sarah has attended and spoken at several conferences. During her first year as product coordinator, she was selected as an NAA minority fellow to attend the 2004 NAA Marketing Conference. She also served as a panelist for the VNA seminar “The New Americans”. Sarah has a B.S. in Media Arts and Design and a B.A. in Spanish from James Madison University. She is currently working on an MBA at the University of Mary Washington.
