Susan M. LoTempio Susan M. LoTempio is assistant managing editor for readership at The Buffalo News, Buffalo NY. In her 20 years at The News, she has served as assistant managing editor for Features, Lifestyle assignment editor and editor of the youth section NeXt, which she created. She has held writing and editing positions at the Niagara Falls (NY) Gazette, the Pleasanton (Calif.) Valley Times and the Oakland (Calif.) Tribune. She is a member of the board of the New York State Associated Press Association. She writes and lectures at seminars around the country on how media cover disability.
