David D. Haynes is editor of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Ideas Lab, a solutions journalism effort at the news organization. He came to the Journal Sentinel in 1994 after working at news organizations in Massachusetts and Indiana. He is a graduate of Indiana University, is married and the father of two grown children.
