Tomlin joins API after more than three decades in journalism and media leadership, most recently serving as chief news and membership officer at McClatchy, where she managed editorial and audience strategy across 30 local news organizations, including The Miami Herald and The Kansas City Star.
American Press Institute names Yoni Greenbaum vice president of product strategy
Greenbaum brings almost 30 years of news media experience to API, and he most recently served as chief operating officer at Lehigh Valley Public Media and chief content officer at PBS 39, both in Bethlehem, Pa.
API welcomes Marlene Harris-Taylor as director of community engagement
As director of inclusion and audience growth, Harris-Taylor will continue API’s efforts to drive organizational and cultural transformation while sharpening its commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. She’ll also work to deepen API’s partnerships with community organizations and non-news experts.
