Newsday had two primary goals when it brought MFN into its newsroom: build stronger data literacy and adopt data-informed decision-making to drive revenue. With MFN, data has become a critical part of how the Newsday team makes decisions and builds relationships with the Long Island community.
Building trust through strategic collaborations
As part of API’s Influencers Learning Cohort, Factchequeado developed a culturally relevant training to help creators produce quality and accurate content. This training was delivered virtually to creators in Ecuador, and an in-person training was held in New York in early 2026.
